1.Acceptance of Terms

By using the Scrap World website or platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms comply with applicable laws of Pakistan.

2.Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete. Minors may use the Service only with parental or guardian consent.

3.Account Registration & Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
• One person may only maintain one active account.

4.Ad Listings & Content Policy

• All ads are reviewed and approved by our admin team before going live.
• You must provide accurate, truthful information in all listings.
• Prohibited listings include: illegal items, counterfeit goods, stolen property, hazardous materials, adult content, or items that violate any applicable law.
• We reserve the right to reject, remove, or modify any listing at our sole discretion.
• You retain ownership of content you post, but grant us a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and promote it.

5.Promotions & Payments

• Promotion plans are paid services that increase ad visibility. All promotions are subject to admin approval.
• Payments are processed through third-party providers (EasyPaisa, JazzCash, Bank Transfer). We are not responsible for third-party payment failures.
• Promotion duration and placement area are set by admin after verifying payment.
• Refunds are issued at our discretion if the promotion has not been activated. No refunds after activation.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time with notice.

6.User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise the integrity of the platform
• Use the Service for spam or unsolicited commercial messages
• Impersonate any person or entity

7.Messaging & Communications

Messages sent through our platform between buyers and sellers must be professional and relevant to transactions. We reserve the right to monitor communications for policy violations. Do not share sensitive financial information through messages.

8.Intellectual Property

The Scrap World name, logo, and all content created by us are our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission. User-generated content remains your property subject to the license granted above.

9.Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• Scrap World is a marketplace platform. We do not endorse, guarantee, or verify the quality of items listed.
• We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers.
• We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from your use of the Service.
• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

10.Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violating these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.

11.Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Karachi, Pakistan.

12.Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
